As the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh sought to capture the intangible, so, choreographer Marla Hirokawa seeks to capture the spirit of the tormented artist and to celebrate that divine creative capacity in artists that transcends humanity. Hirokawa has partnered with Austrian artist Eva Flatscher in conceptualizing this multi-media project. Flatscher brings her unique LIGHTPAINTING to the stage while the Craig Brann group plays live. Jazz composer, arranger and musician Alan Ferber along with cellist, composer vocalist Jody Redhage have provided the evocative score. Jody and cello will be making a guest appearance each night.
