York College, a CUNY college located in Queens, NY, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. They are seeking a local choreographer to create an original (very) short dance that their community of students, faculty, and staff can easily learn and do together at sports games, parties, and other events to boost school spirit.
The winning choreographer will receive a cash prize of $1,000.
Conditions of Entry:
- Open to anyone who has the ideas and the moves!
- Dance should be fun, creative, and most of all, easy for anyone to do.
- All entries must be original choreography.
- Limit one entry per choreographer/group.
- No profane/lewd lyrics in music
- All submissions must be at least 30 seconds in length and no more than 50 seconds.
- Artist must be able to come to the York campus in Jamaica, Queens, this winter to teach the dance to a group of staff, faculty, and students.
