Sammi Sowerby is the Social Media Manager and a Senior Editor for The Dance Enthusiast. A student of fine arts and journalism at Hofstra University, Long Island (2008 - 2012), she crossed paths with Christine Jowers of The Dance Enthusiast through an internship program, and as they say, the rest is history. For seven years, New York City was home, but is presently based in Shanghai, and continues to spread dance enthusiasm in Asia. When the time calls for movement, she can be found making counter-clockwise rounds at a milonga, trying not to lead her partner during tango, or swiveling her hips inside a hula hoop.
