Have you ever seen this company/ before?
Tell us a bit about your history with this group/performer?

I've seen Yeujia Low's  work before at Manhattan Repertory Theatre in Midtown- she choregraphed a piece called "Sunday in the Park" that elevated banal movements of park-goers into dance art. She also wrote a play with music and movement called "24 (A Work in Progress)" that she choreographed, composed, and starred in.

What was your favorite moment(s)? What inspired you?

"Tough One" inspired me to create visual music with dance. My favorite moment was the sudden drop, about halfway through the piece, from very high energy to a more low, sensual energy.

I would certainly see again, and recommend to all of my friends, this performance and company of dancers. Yeuija created a cohesive, beautiful, and touching piece to which many, I'm sure, can relate.

I want to see more from Yeujia Low! Keep on working, please. We need your insight in this community.

If you could, what would you ask the choreographer / dancers?

  1. Choreographer: What inspired this piece? The music? A certain topic? What will you take away from working with these dancers?
  2. Dancers: What did you take away from this piece and the rehearsal process? How did it make you better performers/dancers?
