Performances and Conversations Focusing On Women, Underrepresented Artists, and Safety, Equity, and Inclusivity of the Dance Field
WADE offers numerous points of entry into art and activism through educational programs and curated festivals in the US and Europe.
This year they join the Global 16 Days Campaign, launched by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL) and feminists from around the world running their festival from November 25th (the International Day Against Violence on Women) through December 10th (Human Rights Day).

● Thursday, December 1 at 8:00pm EST: Bringing men into the equation, Men and Boys against Gender Based Violence; The EMPOWER Center, a service provider and advocate for individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sex trafficking, and related forms of gender-based violence.

● Wednesday, December 7 at 8:00pm EST: The EMPOWER Lab, working to further gender equity through scientific approaches to issues of gender based violence; Finleigh Zack Dance, bringing perspective, awareness, and inspiration to mental health through dance, and give voice to young adults that have been personally affected or know someone affected by mental health;
● Thursday, December 8 at 8:00pm EST: Bringing men into the equation, Men and Boys against Gender Based Violence; Move to Move Beyond, Healing Through Movement, an evidence-based program that offers the transformative power of movement to survivors of gender-based violence and their families.
