Contemporary, Street, Dance Theater, Performance Art, Parkour and Other Movement Arts Are Encouraged to Apply

INSITU Site-Specific Dance Festival, named one of the "Top 24 Outdoor Performances to see" by the New York Times, is seeking proposals for site-specific dance performances/dance installations from professional choreographers/dance companies who are experienced or interested in creating site-specific work. Choreographers/Dance companies specializing in contemporary, modern, street/urban, dance theater, performance art, contact improvisation, parkour and other movement arts are encouraged to apply. All work must be new and original, created in response to a selected site along the festival route, and reflective of the festival theme.

There is no application or production fee and all selected artists will receive a $500 commissioning fee plus extensive production support.

Submit your proposal before Dec 1st for an opportunity to create commissioned work and become part of the INSITU community of dance makers, movers, + artists.
