Many Extra Only More is a massive-scale, big-cast, site specific dance project for 40 dancers, framed by 40 windows, in the four-story storefront of Brookland’s Extra Space Storage facility.
It is a communal holler, shout, and shake it all about that will fill an openopen glass facade with quirky-luscious, exuberant dance. But it is also the search for joy in liminal spaces. It is a window into bodies of power. It is a gentle unpacking of the things we store away — in industrial storage units, or the chambers of our hearts.
And it is a dance-me, dance-you, dance-us repair for our times.
