S. J. Ewing & Dancers presents TECHNE, a fully immersive 360-degree virtual reality film that lives at the intersection of contemporary dance, interactive projections, and surround sound. Leveraging technology to bring the audience onto the stage and into our world, TECHNE delivers an entirely new perspective of a contemporary dance performance.
For TECHNE, four audience members at a time will enter our theatre space for the first time since the start of the pandemic to experience this virtual reality film.
This event is co-presented by Dance Place and CityDance. This work is supported by a DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities’ Projects, Events and Festivals grant.
