Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition
The Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition will open March 8 and conclude with a Gala Performance March 15th. Dancers will compete live and in their own time zones, in Asia, North America, South America, Eastern Europe, South Africa, and Australia. Charles Jude, former etoile of the Paris Opera Ballet, will again chair the large panel of judges, which are different for each time zone. Competition begins March 8 with dancers from the USA, Australia, Aruba and Japan. March 9 has entrants from Brazil and Argentina; March 10 dancers from Japan and South Korea; March 11 dancers from Latvia, Ukraine, Austria, and Russian Federation. Remainder of the Rounds and the Gala will be announced.
