Half | Life (Brooklyn Premiere)
Choreography: Kristin Hatleberg
Performer/Translator: Cecilia Fontanesi
Half | Life is place-based work made in 24 vignettes, one for each hour of the day. Each vignette is a compilation of observations and experiences from that hour of day in that place. Half | Life was part of a year-long collaboration between Kristin Hatleberg, Katherine Tzu-Lan Mann, and Erik Moe for the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Half | Life was originally for an alleyway in Washington DC where the artists shared a live/work complex, and it was all notated in Labanotation Motif Writing. The zine and artwork from the project can be found at futurecartographic.org/shop/
HAZMAT (Premiere)
