Home Grown is a celebration of the people and culture that define a city. Whole Heart Productions' signature Home Grown events celebrate artists that are contributing to the cultural heritage of their communities. Home Grown performances combine dance, music, talks and storytelling to not only transport the audience to new locations but to also celebrate the culture within their own cities. It started with a vision a calling to create a way to not only recognize the artistic contributions of a city's native population, but to also create a community of sharing and collaboration within the arts. With festival activities over three weeks, a group of artists will educate audiences, spark critical conversations, entertain and inspire collective action.
