The New York City Dance Alliance Foundation’s Destiny Rising returns to The Joyce Theater for a one-night-only celebration of dance and education. This inspiring evening brings together every stage of a dancer’s journey—from aspiring high school students and NYCDAF college scholarship recipients to renowned professional companies, all performing on one stage.
The program features a world premiere with nearly 40 NYCDAF scholarship recipients, alongside performances from Ailey II, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Parsons Dance, and more. All proceeds support NYCDAF’s mission to provide college scholarships for the next generation of dancers, ensuring they have the opportunity to pursue higher education and become stronger artists, leaders, and changemakers.
