Cindy Brandle Dance Company (CBDC) will have its NYC premiere with the evening-length production Project Human through the Greenspace residency Take Root.
This original multi-media dance production conceived and directed by choreographer Cindy Brandle delves deeply into the resilience of humans, the ongoing process of rising, and the continued demand to combat hatred, discrimination, and marginalization. Combining an original soundscore, poetry, dance-for-camera films, and live athletic, passionate, modern dance, Project Human will take the audience on an impassioned journey.
Sarah Rose, who is collaborating with Taylor Ballard, Ross Daniel, and Helen Greider, says: "This project is: an exploration of unison and mirroring, a walk of the line between collective and individual, and a modern day court dance."
