Experience a selection of the revolutionary choreographer Anna Sokolow’s theatre dance works in the Lower East Side cabaret, The Slipper Room.
Close Quarters explores the astonishing range of feeling and experience in Sokolow’s solos, duets, and small groups. This is the first time the Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble has designed a performance especially for such an intimate space. It promises to be an intense trip through Sokolow's most edgy, sensual, dark, and surreal work.
Doors open at 7:30 pm, curtain up at 8:00 pm. $25 admission + $20 drink minimum.
