Immerse yourself in the boundless energy of Pointeworks as we present Season 2, debuting in New York City this March. Curated by Artistic Director Sophie Williams, this dynamic season showcases a female-forward repertory of seven electrifying ballets—including four world premieres—celebrating the innovation and creative spirit that define our company.
This season amplifies the artistic vision of women across choreography, music, and design, with six of the seven works choreographed by women, two original scores commissioned from female composers, and costumes designed by three female designers. Each piece is as distinct and innovative as its ChoreograpHER, celebrating a powerful blend of perspectives and creativity.
Our cast features 14 exceptional dancers from across the country, representing renowned companies such as New York City Ballet, Texas Ballet Theater, and Dance Theatre of Harlem. Together, they deliver an exhilarating interplay of movement, music, and design on stage.
