The dance performance for seven dancers on a secret location

What is the truest, purest, and most basic form of human relating that we can observe? The need to connect and to be loved deeply. It is an essential and relatable universal truth.

Two or more bodies, conditioned by the system in power and managing day-to-day survival in not-so-humane capitalism, hold onto what is dear and special to them: a yearning to relate. Being torn apart so often and recomposed into another provisory connection, how do we grow this short-lived love?

Inspired by her own New York life and the lives of people navigating the magnetic fields of various short-lived relationships in today's NYC, together with dancers, Petra translates this reality into a place of communion: a Brooklyn rave where various variables, such as dreams, jobs, pillow talks, and star alignments, all come together in one room, on a dance floor.
