NYC Based Touring Company, Chevalier Ballet, Returns to the Strand Theatre to Perform Two Original Works

Chevalier Ballet Company will return to The Strand Theatre in two dance shows with live music on November 18th and 19th.
Friday, November 18th, at 7:30 p.m., the company will present Sara Knight’s original Beatles Ballet in collaboration with Across the Pond, a Beatles tribute band that will play hits from across the Beatles spectrum including:
A Day in the Life, Eleanor Rigby, Strawberry Fields Forever, I Am the Walrus, Girl, Black Bird, and Something.
Beatles Ballet premiered in New York City on October 13, 2018, at the Danny Kaye Playhouse, Hunter College, and then appeared at The Strand on December 1st the same year. In April 2021, the show toured the UK and had its international premiere at the historic Kenton Theatre in Henley-on-Thames.
On Saturday the 19th at 1 p.m., Knight’s original choreography, Ballet Meets Joplin, will feature pianist Jonathan Newell playing the music of Scott Joplin.
