7:00pm Opening Dance Ceremony by Thunderbirds Native-American Dancers

8:00pm Site-Specific Dance Performance by NVA & Guests, curated by CreateART: TOMORROW, directed by Nicole von Arx, is a new 20-minute installation work created on the theme of Water. It combines dance, music, a pre-recorded voice, and video projections.
8:30pm Musical Postlude by Singing Violinist Katy Gunn
On this opening night of our summer season, we are thrilled to announce Sabrina Barrios (Brazil)as the inaugural winner of Broadway Stages’ Residency Award @ Kingsland Wildflowers: Her site-specific installation, The Battle of Creation, will remain on view on Upper Meadow throughout the evening and the entire outdoor season.
