Leroy, a large, imperturbable actor named Lawrence Goldhuber serves as fulcrum, comic relief and protector for Mr. Jones. A dance called ''1-2-3'' opens stunningly with Mr. Jones, dressed in a white suit and shoes, casually fading into and out of a square of white light created by a white scrim. When he moves behind a larger orange square of scrim at the other side of the stage, Mr. Jones bec
