Dance for camera films offer a new dimension of dance, a cinematic poetry. This showcase of Czech dance short films, made during and despite the pandemic, is presented in partnership with Dance Film Festival Prague.
The line-up, curated for presentation during Czech Center NY’s Summer Rooftop Movies, includes Delimitation by Tereza Vejvodová and Markéta Jandová, the winner of the Main prize of the Festival; Fibonacci, an environmental essay by Tomáš Hubáček and Marie Gourdain; Roselyne, a film adaptation of the Cécile da Costa solo, directed by Tereza Vejvodová; and Ephemera by Viliam Dočolomanský and Jiří Matoušek.
