Dancing Beyond is back using the medium of dance to help affected lives in the most adverse circumstances. Stemming throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, EMDOD has found ways to support one another and the community. EMDOD returns with multiple performances in Dancing Beyond 2022 (January 14th-16th), and we're supporting The American Cancer Society in collaboration with Dance Against Cancer!

Every company, school, and artist involved in these performances donates their time and effort in the fight for a cancer-free world. EMDOD's Dancing Beyond is a fantastic way to share dance, passion, and spirit throughout the holidays while exploring movement with some of New York's finest choreographers! The showcase not only allows dancers to work side-by-side building long-lasting relationships, but it also gives participants a chance to perform the work for a heart-felt cause. In Dancing Beyond's legacy, we've had the honor to donate over $30,000, specifically fundraised for The American Cancer Society, and host schools and companies such as The Limón Dance Company, NYU TISCH, LaGuardia High School, with new creations by Sidra Bell, Clifton Brown, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Fredrick Earl Mosley, and more!

Through ticket sales and donations, EMDOD's Dancing Beyond fuels a significant contribution to the Dance Against Cancer Fund and The American Cancer Society, joining in our communal step towards a cancer-free world.
