Join Hanna Q Dance Company for a premiere performance of Hanna Q's newest Contemporary Dance Choreography work, (a full-length "ballet") and her take on the Greek Classic Mythology, PERSEUS AND ANDROMEDA.

This outdoor dance performance takes place at The Stage in our Woods, on Hanna Q's and her husbands 13-acres property, set in a glen in their beautiful woods under the trees with a lush, rocky hill as backdrop. Bring your own lawn chairs. There will be a complimentary glass of wine and cheese & charcouteries  to nibble on, while you sit back, enjoy a dance choreography with a very passionate and dramatic story line, with narration by Belle Pepper, in character of the greek gooddess of epic poetry Calliope. Hanna Q Dance Company dancers will awe you with fabulous athletic strength, heroic fearlessness but also with a beauty that will melt your heart and take you to a different world, a different time.

In A Nutshell: Perseus saves princess Andromeda from being devoured by the sea monster Cetus. Hanna Q 's new choreography work is exciting. There will be  fearless, athletic and heroic battles, but also full of passionate love! Plus the most  beautiful Sea Nymphs... Come see The Gods and Goddesses embrace in Dance. It will be epic!

Make it a day trip to the beautiful Pocono Mountains / Delaware Highlands. Get out of the city, go hiking, canoe,  swim in the Delaware River , or visit our charming historic town Milford, PA (10 minutes from us).
Then join us for our dance performance on The Stage in our Woods: we are surrounded by the Forrest, Water Falls  and the Delaware River in The Delaware Water Gap National Park and Recreation Area  but just  a 1 1/2 -2 hours car drive from NYC.

Founded in 2013, Hanna Q Dance Company has been performing original works. The Swedish born and raised Artistic Director and Choreographer, Johanna LjungQvistBrinson, draws inspiration from the forces of nature and uses its elements to create dynamic narratives through movement. The choreography is comprised of technically rigorous movement, derived from Johanna’s background in Dunham technique, as well as partnering at once intricately acrobatic and viscerally human. The dancers express bursts of passion and athleticism, sweeping the audience into a different world full of emotions. The company has performed in venues mostly in NYC, including Dixon Place, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Dance Festival, TADA!Theater, The Actors Fund Arts Center, Green Space, New York Live Arts, The Triskelion Arts,  New York City Center and West End Theater.
