Celebrate Anabella Lenzu/DanceDrama's 15th Anniversary with Dance-Theater Films (VIRTUAL + FREE)
Company:
Anabella Lenzu/DanceDrama
HAPPY 15TH ANNIVERSARY
ANABELLA LENZU/DANCEDRAMA!
Join us to celebrate thought-provoking and historically conscious dance-theater dance films on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at 7pm (ET, NYC time) in a dance film evening via ZOOM!
The online evening will highlight four important dance film works and an intimate interview of Anabella Lenzu by Celia Ipiotis, dance historian, educator, and creator of the nationally recognized EYE ON DANCE educational TV archive.
The dance films reflect Anabella Lenzu’s experience as a Latina/European artist living in New York and comes from a deep examination of my motivations as a woman, mother, and immigrant.
Since 2006, Anabella Lenzu/DanceDrama (ALDD), has presented 400 performances, created 14 choreographic works at 100 venues, produced 7 dance films presented in over 60 festivals both nationally and internationally, including London, Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, Serbia, India, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.
Admission is FREE and supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs through the generous support of the #cityartistcorpsgrant.
RSVP is required to alddadmin@anabellalenzu.com
