For nearly a quarter of a century, SpectorDance’s Choreographers Showcase has offered dancemakers opportunities to share their art and local audiences the chance to experience a variety of original, cutting-edge works. SpectorDance is now proud to announce the newest iteration of this exciting event: SpectorDance’s Choreographers Showcase Re-Imagined: Dance That Makes a Difference!
For the first time, our showcase will focus on the power of dance to inform, promote dialogue, and be a galvanizing vehicle for change. Additionally, the 2022 showcase will introduce several new features and options for artists including:
- A selected artist will create a new work for local dancers to perform at the Showcase
- Master classes for community and visiting dancers in a variety of dance styles
- Residency opportunities at Hidden Valley
