Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company celebrates its 50th anniversary with the premiere of "Once Upon El Barrio," by company artistic director Enrique Cruz DeJesus. The work was inspired by the writings of Piri Thomas, poet and author of the best seller Down These Mean Streets, a true story of resilience, redemption, transformation, and love of community.
