In Lak’ech Dance Academy, is a Queer, Trans and Allied Salsa and Bachata dance academy based in the Bay Area. The Third Annual Queer Afro Latin Dance Festival (Virtual Event) is the only Afro Latin Dance Festival that centers and celebrates Queer and Trans dancers, from all over the world! People of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and dance experiences are welcome.
Join us, and train with top Queer Afro Latin dance instructors, two full days of workshop sessions, ten genres including Salsa, Contemporary, Bachata, Hip-Hop, Heels, Zouk, Merengue, Jazz, Vogue, and Yoga. Enjoy the amazing Showcase of 20 performances each night; and dance to international, and Bay Area Afro Latin Dance DJ’s.
Come and experience dancing with your Corazon, being your true selves, in a space that understands that Leading and Following, has nothing to do with Gender.
