PHILADELPHIA, PA: KYLD presents "Breath into Air"
Company:
Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers
One of the country’s premier Asian-American contemporary dance companies, Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers (KYL/D), announces its 26th Home Season, Breath Into Air, at FringeArts on Friday, April 19th and Saturday, April 20th.
As we deal with grief and strife on personal and global levels, nine KYL/D dancers search for healing and connection. Witness the world premiere of Breath Into Air, a work that investigates what death and loss can offer us, a space to ponder what remains, and how to be thankful for the gift of every breath. This new work was developed in memory of KYL/D board member, Marla Soffer.
The concert also includes an excerpt of audience favorite, Mandala, described by The Inquirer as, "a masterwork of art, spirituality, and stagecraft," Koyl by Evalina Carbonell, and Dragon by Weiwei Ma.
Friday April 19 | 7:30pm
Saturday April 20 | 2:30pm & 7:30pm
FringeArts | FringeArts, 140 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd.
