Benita Bike’s DanceArt brings a program of beautiful dancing and audience interaction to the Lake View Terrace Library on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00pm. The Library is located at 12002 Osborne Street, Los Angeles, next to Los Angeles Discovery Cube. This performance is FREE and suitable for all ages

Libraries open up the world to us not only with books, but also with live presentations. So, it is natural for Benita Bike’s DanceArt, an LA-based modern dance company to share its passion for dance in this library performance space. Benita Bike’s DanceArt knows how to introduce the soul of dance to audiences. Join the Company for a unique and intriguing afternoon of dance! See wonderful dancers and tell us what you think!

This performance features:

Griot Songs – A quartet focused on 3 stages of womanhood: child into woman, young womanhood, and maturity

Aspects of Me – A quintet celebrating the complexity of self with sections titled “Me and Myself,” “Me and the Branch,” “Me and Her,” and “We”
