The NYC-based Joffrey Concert Group, Bradley Shelver, Artistic Director, will present "In My Art," three world premieres by Shelver, Eryn Renee Young and Vernard J. Gilmore, celebrating three different dance voices with music ranging from Prince to JSBach.
Young and Gilmore are the recent recipients of the Group's annual Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative. Selected from hundreds of applicants, the exceptional dancemakers receive a 40-hour rehearsal process to create a new work on the Group, a $2500 stipend, and presentation of their works in the Joffrey Concert Group's New York season.
