CityDanceNY presents the classic winter tale, The Snow Queen. Based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen short story, The Snow Queen centers on the struggle between good and evil. Gerda and Kai are childhood sweethearts, but the evil released by the devils causes Kai to run to the cold embrace of the Snow Queen. Gerda, with her gifted rose, searches the earth for the true love of her life and encounters all sorts of adventures. This greatest of fairy tales inspired the Disney hit 'Frozen' and continues to enchant audiences even today. Tickets range from $20-$40 with discounts for seniors, students and dance industry.
