Deirdre Towers, director/editor, will present her film BREAD: A Tall Tale, commissioned by the Hudson Valley Flamenco Festival 2023 in BAAD!ASS Women's Festival 3/28/2024, 8pm along with live performances by stellar flamenco artists Nelida Tirado and Olyda Ola. Starring singer/guitarist Juan Pedro Jimenez, dancers Olyda Ola and Juan Paredes, this tragic-comic tale told through flamenco, was inspired by one of the Gypsy Folk Tales collected by Diane Tong.
