◾Class description

You will be able to warm up with Reflective Floorwork choreography by sarAika from 6-7pm and from 7-8pm you will have the unique opportunity to learn European Style contemporary from the international choreographer Katia Tubini GUEST ARTIST FROM ITALY

◾About Katia Tubini

Since 1999 she has directed the dance school 'LPP ballet studio', one of the most popular school for dancers based in Verona, performing the role of teacher, director and choreographer.
In 2010 she founded the Lpp_Project dance company and in 2022 the new LPP_junior dance company for which she created performance presented in Italy and abroad.
As freelance choreographer she worked in Ucraine, Greek and Slovenia.
In 2019 she became a member of the CID (International Dance Council - under the help of UNESCO) as freelance choreographer and as director of her company Lpp_Project dance company.

◾About sarAika 

sarAika movement collective is a contemporary dance collective, founded by immigrants and queer women Aika Takeshima and Sara Pizzi, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the dance ecosystem. They spread awareness on topical aspects or personal insight by creating multidisciplinary collaborative performances, sarAika makes dance for and about people. Among numerous achievements, they were awarded from Spoke The Hub to have their first solo production, received RedTail residency at JCAL, and toured in Japan. Recently, they were commissioned by IATI THEATER to create a solo evening show for the Fall of 2024 and is selected as resident artists of 2025 by University Settlement
