Performa is a laboratory for brave new dance in Los Angeles!
Spend time in your research making highly personal, dynamic new performances. It’s a safe place to develop risk-taking ideas and grow your compositional skills with a strong community:
- Create, iterate, and blossom new solo material
- Form small ensembles
- Get documentation to strengthen your artistic voice and submissions
Established by Latinx artist, multidisciplinary director and choreographer Adam Kerbel (New York Live Arts, Terra Nova, Jacob’s Pillow, Cannonball) with support from The Music Center, Performa fosters brave new dance and live art. Diverse styles and mobilities encouraged.
