NEWAVE is a 5-day summer intensive hosted by BODYSONNET at New York Live Arts, July 8-12, 2024. Registration is due June 1, 2024.
Each day will include a technique class, lunch with teaching artists, and movement research lab.
Teaching Artists include:
Keerati Jinakunwiphat (former A.I.M. by Kyle Abraham, Princess Grace Awardee), Gabe Katz (Sleep No More, NOWNESS), Kevin Pajarillaga (former Gibney Dance Company, Emursive), Brandon Coleman (Sleep No More, PROS Career Coaching), Tushrik Fredericks (TRIBE, Princess Grace Awardee, Contemporary Movement Practice), Sean Lammer (Ballet of Difference, BODYSONNET), Mio Ishikawa (Sleep No More, Sidra Bell, BODYSONNET), Moscelyne ParkeHarrison (Post:ballet, BODYSONNET), and Jessica Smith (Sleep No More, Vim Vigor, Dual Rivet).
NEWAVE is for pre-professional/newly professional dancers ages 16-25.
