Choreographic Mentorship Program with Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre (FEBRUARY 1 - JUNE 9, 2023)

Open to four (4) emerging choreographers interested in developing work alongside Amanda Selwyn and her company, the Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre. The selected choreographers will present their work in progress during 8 sessions between February 1st and June 9th, 2023 and receive one-on-one feedback. The program will culminate in a studio showing on June 11th, 2023 @ NYU Tisch Studios in the East Village with a final discussion over wine and cheese with the ASDT team and invited guests.
To apply to the program, please complete the form HERE with a $25 non-refundable application fee, PAY APPLICATION FEE. The complete application form and $25 application fee are both required to be considered for the program. The four (4) selected choreographers will be charged in an additional $125 production fee payable upon acceptance to the program.
The Choreographic Mentorship Program includes: one-on-one choreographic mentorship with Amanda Selwyn, networking opportunities, the chance to take company class and observe rehearsals, studio showing, wine and cheese reception, and professional video and photo footage for portfolio usage.
With this initiative Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre looks to deepen its mission of developing original works, supporting young artists, and giving back to the broader community and the audiences of the future.
