Jillian’s class honors the traditional arc of a ballet class with contemporary movement and deviations inserted throughout. Dancers are guided to enhance technique by applying modern and abstract qualities to classical exercises which are creatively patterned to support proper execution. Students are encouraged to articulate and punctuate movements with greater precision, thoughtfulness, and artistry. The class strengthens technical integrity, while respecting individual bodies and skill levels, and dancers are challenged and equipped to work with deepened intelligence. Experience a ballet class full of diversity and complexity, and accompanied by an eclectic playlist of music designed to mirror the attributes of our physical intentions.
