The Equus Projects is a company that creates site specific works, often partnering dancers with horses (ridden and riderless). If you join the company, the ability to communicate with equines is essential, but no previous experience is necessary. As a company member, you will receive extensive training in natural horsemanship.
Curious movers of all backgrounds and training are welcome!!!
We are seeking adventurous and athletic movers and strong improvisers who understand how to create and perform choreography that merges set movement material with improvised structures. This summer we will be using our Wednesday LABs as an audition opportunity.
The LAB meets weekly on Wednesdays from 9:30 am-12:30 pm in Soho.

We will be creating a a large new work with horses in Fall 2024.
There is a flat fee for this project.
We work quickly and projects are made in 8-10 rehearsals.
Equine rehearsals are conducted in Moorestown, NJ.
Those rehearsals run Friday evening through Sunday and we stay down in Moorestown.
