Gibney Dance Company (GDC) seeks experienced dancers with strong technical and artistic abilities for full-time contracts for its 2019-2020 Season. Contracts would run from September 2019-August 2020.
Gibney supports our dancers, who we call Artistic Associates, with 52-week contracts, health insurance, and paid vacations. *Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the USA.

GDC’s Artistic Associates embrace a broad spectrum of activities — in the studio, on stage, within our organization, and throughout the community.
GDC Artistic Associates:
Perform work by renowned guest choreographers. Previous and current commissioned choreographers include Bryan Arias, Adam Barruch, Shamel Pitts, Bobbi Jene Smith, Micaela Taylor, among others.
Facilitate movement workshops for survivors of intimate partner violence.
Offer healthy relationship assemblies to high school students across the city through our Hands are for Holding program.
Engage the community through individually-crafted Advocacy Fellowships. Each AA pinpoints a pressing issue in dance that ignites a personal passion within them to develop, implement and co-create new programs in response to the evolving needs of the field.
