This is a volunteer performance opportunity that invites dancers to participate in a ritual call to action for peace. The performance ritual provides an outlet to reclaim a tragic moment in our city's history and build community with others through an embodied experience that has become an annual part of how NYC commemorates September 11.

All venues for the open call, rehearsals, and performance are ADA compliant.

BDT strives to create an inclusive experience that is welcoming of all artists regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.

“The Table of Silence Project 9/11 needs your artistic voice now more than ever, as we are experiencing a pivotal moment in history. In this time of awakenings and transformation, we look to You, the artists for truths and solidarity. With You, the Table of Silence Project continues its evolution as a healing ritual, most relevant to the present-day suffering of all those affected by war, systemic oppression, and environmental and social injustices”
— Artistic Director Jacqulyn Buglisi
