Susanna Sloat is a writer and editor in New York City who, for over thirty years, has written about many kinds of dance, most recently for DanceTabs and Ballet Review. She is the editor of two books on Caribbean Dance: Making Caribbean Dance: Continuity and Creativity in Island Cultures and Caribbean Dance from Abakua to Zouk: How Movement Shapes Identity.
