Stacey Menchel Kussell

Stacey Menchel Kussell is a contributor to The Dance Enthusiast. In addition to writing on dance, Stacey writes about Jewish history and international affairs. Her work has appeared in The Forward, Dance Magazine, The Jerusalem Post, and Tablet Magazine. She is also the producer/director of "Renewal", a documentary film about dance and ecology. Stacey  received an M.A. from New York University in European and Mediterranean History, and a B.A. from Emory University in Creative Writing with minors in Italian Studies and Dance. Stacey is also a former professional contemporary ballet dancer.  She performed with New York companies Sensedance, Nina Buisson Contemporary Move, and ACFDance as well as in freelance projects in Italy and Spain.
